The KHET BACHAO ABHIYAN is a nationwide initiative by the Ministry of Agriculture and ICAR focused on protecting soil health, promoting scientific farming, and reducing excessive reliance on chemical inputs.In this context, KVK Ganjam-I has been conducting awareness programme since June 1, 2026, across villages in different blocks on Balanced Fertilizer Use, Importance of Soil Testing, Crop Residue Management and Green Manuring, Crop Planning for Reduced Fertilizer Dependency etc.
