KVK, Ganjam-I celebrated the National campaign for Farmers on the occasion of 75 years of India’s Independence Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav at KVK campus on dt.26.08.2021. In this programme 100 farmers & farm women, 4 Govt. officials participated. During this programme importance of food & nutrition on women health, role of kitchen gardening, bio-fortified vegetables etc. have been discussed. One farmer seminar was organised & farmers & farm women gave their views on food & nutrition. Group discussion was also organised about different issues regarding malnutrition & role of nutrient reach crops. At the end of the programme papaya & Drumstick seedlings distributed among the farmers. All the farmers & farmwomen viewed the programme on “Food & Nutrition for farmers” through weblink.
