The Tree Plantation Programme was observed by KVK, Ganjam-I on dtd.17.09.19 at KVK campus. In this context a meeting was held at KVK training hall. Around 200 farmers from 5 villages were participated in the meeting. The meeting was started with the inaugural speech of Senior Scientist & Head of KVK, Ganjam-I and also she chaired the meeting. The Asst. Conservator of Forestry in his opine told the advantages of tree plantation and aware the farmers different schemes of Government regarding Forestry department. The ADH, Bhanjanagar suggested the methods of tree plantation and different schemes of Government. The DAO, Bhanjanagar in his speech told how deforestation putting a very bad effect on climate. He aware the farmers abstain from deforestation and for a better and green world. In this context Scientist (Agril. Extension) gave a brief idea on how to form]tion of Kissan Gosti. At the end Scientist (plant Protection) gave vote of thanks. Then a plantation and distribution of forest trees held inside KVK farm area.
