The National Fish Farmers' Day was celebrated at Village Gramadebati of Jagannath prasad block on dt. 10.07.2019. Around 50 farmers & farm women were attended the meeting. In this context the Fishery Scientist encouraged farmers and farm women for culturing Jayanti Rohu with Catla & Mrigal in community pond for both nutritional security and economical security. The Asst. Fishery Officer of Bhanjanagar block advised farmers to use multi mineral for faster growth of the pond fish. At the end there was a discussion about problems facing by fish farmers in the field and feasible solutions were provided by KVK Scientists.
