Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Ganjam-I, Bhanjanagar and District Agriculture Office, Bhanjanagar jointly celebrated the Akshya Trutiya (KRUSHAK DIBAS) in the campus of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Ganjam-I on dt.07.05.2019. Sri Rajendra Kumar Minj, Sub-collector, Bhanjanagar inaugurated the function in the presence of Sri Arjuna Kumar Bisoyi, DAO, Bhanjanagar, Dr. Swagatika Sahu, Senior Scientist & Head, KVK, Ganjam-I, Sri Kumuda Chandra Padhi, Agronomist of DAO office, Miss. Soumini Sahu, AAO, Bhanjanagar & Sri Sudhansu Sekhar Sahu, AFO, Bhanjanagar. In this occasion farmers were aware on the new techniques of scientific cultivation, seed treatment techniques, soil test based fertilizer application etc. The meeting was organised by Sri Prasanta Kumar Panda, Scientist. Plant protection, KVK, Ganjam-I with the support of prograssive farmer Sri Birendra Nayak & Sri Siba Prasad Sahu.
