The World Food Day was celebrated on 16^th October 2017, in the village Dhumachhai of Belaguntha block of Ganjam district. The programme was organized by KVK, Ganjam-I.. It was inaugurated by the Mr Arjun Kumar Bisoyi, District Agriculture Officer, Bhanjanagar.The meeting was attended by Line department officials and more than fifty farmers and farmwomen of nearby villages. In his inaugural speech, he emphasized on seed production, use of stress tolerant varieties for food security.
